- 5th May. "Keiko-So-Ken", inspection of Sumo practice, by a sponsoring/supporting organization of Isenoumi Beya.
Akebono, Kaio, Tamakasuga, Toki and Chiyotenzan came to make "Degeiko" practice with Tosanoumi and Kitakachidoki. Oikari took a rest today.
Tosanoumi lost all his 16 bouts because he was very tired in these few days.
Akebono got 21 straight wins. Kaio's result was 28 wins and 7 loses.
- 26th Apr. Banzuke of Natsu Basho was announced.
